Before the jet was forced to land in Italy, a British doctor aboard a Wizz Air flight from Jordan to London helped deliver a baby mid-air. Hassan Khan, 28, said he was returning from a holiday in Amman on Saturday morning when the flight crew called for a doctor. The expecting mother was discovered on the ground outside the cockpit after her waters had broken, according to a doctor who works at Basildon Hospital. Hassan said the Jordanian woman did not speak any English, and another passenger was required to assist during the delivery. I told the flight attendants what I needed, which would include an oxygen mask, a clamp for the umbilical chord, and a stethoscope, none of which would have been on a plane,' Hassan told BBC.

Following the violent October 7 assault by Metropolitan Police officers, a tumultuous row has broke out. In Edgware, North London, two officers stripped the missing innocents from the flight. Residents in the area, which is home to a large Jewish congregation, slammed the officers''''disgusting' behavior.' However, the Met has stated that they were simply taking steps to'stop problems from escalating' and 'avoid community tensions.' The force said in a statement that the posters had been published in'retribution' for remarks made about the Israel-Hamas war by a chemist's staff. Haasan Khan, the chemist's CEO, retweeting articles from an apparent colleague branded Israel and the IDF as 'filthy animals' and calling for Israel's allies, Iran and Hezbollah, to participate in the conflict. The account appears to have been closed, and Mr Khan released a statement apologizing on behalf of the firm. The Campaign Against Antisemitism accused the Met of a "double standard" by "turning a blind eye to extremists" in pulling down the posters.
