STEPHEN GLOVER: It's a charge the BBC can't ignore - That its reporting makes Jews in Britain feel less safe

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 29, 2023
STEPHEN GLOVER: I've often sluggishly criticized the BBC for its political leanings. Many books could be full of examples of Auntie's Left-Leaning prejudices. In fact, Mark Thompson, the BBC's former director general, has openly admitted that in'much of modern life,' there was a'strong Left' bias. However, the excesses of the past have certainly been outweighed in recent weeks by our national broadcaster's shamelessly one-sided coverage of the Israeli-Hamas conflict. It can't even begin to describe an organisation that butchers women and children, as well as hostages, as "terrorists." The result of such a situation will be costly. I am particularly concerned about the British Jewish people, many of whom feel threatened in their own country. According to some, the BBC's inability of impartiality has exacerbated anti-Semitism. There are so many bad examples it's impossible to decide where to start. The explosion at al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza on October 17 killed dozens of people, many children.

Despite Guz Khan's string of anti-Israel tweets, the BBC remains committed to his decision to allow him to host 'I Got News For You,' claiming that guests have a "broad range of political views.'

On X, Man Like Mobeen has accused the Jewish state of'genocide' and "ethnic cleansing.' This week's version of Have I Got News for You, which will be broadcast on BBC One on Friday, December 1st, the Coventry-born comedian will take charge.

BBC staff 'lost for words' after comedian Guz Khan is announced as host of Have I Got News For You after weeks of calling Israel 'genocidal' on social media

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 28, 2023
Have I Got News for You is a comedy that has accused Israel of "ethnic cleansing" and "genocide" in Gaza. Since the Hamas terror attacks in southern Israel on October 7, Guz Khan, who is best known for his BBC Three comedy Man Like Mobeen, has regularly posted on social media in favor of Palestine. The 37-year-old has accused Israel of 'war crimes' in its reaction to the sneak attack by the terrorist group, and has accused the Jewish state of "occupying' the Palestinian territories for years. The Coventry-born comedian has been chosen to host this week's version of Have I Got News for You, which will be broadcast on BBC One on Friday, December 1st. However, one BBC staffer, who told the Times, was 'lost for words,' he had been booked given the high likelihood that the Gaza conflict would be discussed on satirical current affairs'.
