Guy Gerber Life

Guy Avraham Gerber (born 1974 in Holon, near Tel Aviv) is an Israeli electronic DJ/producer and singer who works in the underground techno scene.

Gerber's first full length album "Belly Dancing" and "Sea Of Sand," his collaboration with hip hop artist Puff Daddy, to launching a left-field night at the Ibiza club, the Pacha, was released on Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings imprint in June 2007 and featured two international club hits in 'Belly Dancing' and 'Sea Of Sand,' which he performed with his Israeli production partner Shlomi Aber

Gerber's 'My Invisible Romance' follows this album.

In addition to his creations, Gerber took time to remix New Order and Dominik Eulberg, as well as establishing his own brand Supplement Facts.

The artist produced a Fabric album made up of entirely original new works in 2012 and 2013, with the title 'Who's Stalking Who' is a LP closer to an extended composition than anything else.

Gerber has remixed worthy titles including "The L Word" by Deniz Kurtel and "Hungry For The Power" by Azari & III.

Guy Gerber Career

Career

Gerber's first full-length album 'Cocoon Compilation F' was released on Sven Väth's Cocoon Records imprint in June 2007 and featured two international club hits in 'Belly Dancing' and 'Sea Of Sand,' which he produced with his Israeli production partner Shlomi Aber. Gerber's 'My Invisible Romance' began after this album. Gerber did not neglect his designs, but he also took time to remix New Order and Dominik Eulberg, as well as establishing his own brand Supplement Facts. The artist produced a Fabric album in 2012 and 2013; then 'Who's Stalking Who' was a LP closer to an extended version than anything else. Gerber has remixed popular topics, such as Deniz Kurtel's "The L Word" and Azari & III's "Hungry For The Power."

Gerber has consistently been rated as one of the best dance performers in the industry, having appeared on Resident Advisor as a top ten performer for the past three years. He is known for his extended sets, including a 12-hour set at Burning Man in 2014. The New York Times paid attention to Gerber's 2013 The wisdom of the glove residence at Pacha. Rumors, a clandestine free beach party in Ibiza, was held 12 months ago. Gerber had helped curate and A&R many underground musicians in addition to his appearances. Supplement Facts, hosted artists from Chaim to dOP, Guti, and Kate Simko, according to his label. However, Gerber delayed the project until it reached its apex in order to introduce a new imprint Rumors. "No Distance," Gerber's collaboration with Dixon, "No Distance," was released as part of a Puff Daddy's crossover album, '11:11', one of 2014's most critically acclaimed LPs.

Rumors reintroduces Gerber's attention to the visual aesthetic in a similar way to Supplement Facts. The artist has been seen on stage and abroad, including with Miss Kittin on the critically acclaimed 'Rumors on The Dancefloor' EP. Many EPs from other well-known artists, such as Seth Troxler, have been released by Rumors, as well as emerging talents with unique designs, such as Clarion or Acid Mondays.

However, Rumors has also launched an accompanying event series in the summer of 2014. Rumors, for example, held a string of free parties in Ibiza with a laid back atmosphere due to the beach's setting in Playa d'En Bossa. However, the Rumors parties opposed the mega-lineup announcements and posters throughout the island's remainder. There was little detail about it and it would all be released at the last minute. Despite this strange policy, Rumors parties saw big names such as sasha, Miss Kittin, Kenny Glasgow, and Matthew Dear performer appear on the sets alongside Gerber and the label's up-andcoming artists.

Rumors has not ceased to circulate worldwide with performances at 'Art Basel Miami' and 'We Are FSTVL' in London proving. Despite the fact that Gerber has been traveling around the world, his idea of the perfect musical event remains the same: "The night has a very specific feeling, it must start very deep, very spiritual, and it doesn't get any faster." It's a very natural-feeling party. The songs must have some substance, not too loopy, and had some sort of musical vibe to them. "I'm looking for a challenge deep inside."
