It's rare to see one Hollywood good dining out at your local restaurant, but Scott's patrons were treated to no less than three on Monday evening. As they enjoyed an evening meal in the English capital, Oscar-winning Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and Guillermo Del Toro were welcomed by the Mayfair venue, a popular destination for visiting celebrities. Hanks, as well as wife Rita Wilson, seemed to be in good spirits as he discussed the two legendary directors outside of the popular restaurant.

On 19 January, the BAFTAs announced their nominations for 2023 ahead of the ceremony, which takes place on Sunday, February 19th. The prestigious festival, which will be hosted by respected actor Richard E. Grant and TV royalty Alison Hammond, honors the best in film over the past year, and it's likely to be a close call as to which films earn the gold medals. With "The Banshees of Inisherin" and "Everything Everywhere at Once" following, the nods have 14 noms, with "All Quiet on the Western Front" leading the nods with 14 noms. Austin Butler is pitted against Brendan Fraser in the Leading Actor category for their critically acclaimed roles in "Elvis" and "The Whale" respectively, while Viola Davis for "The Woman King" goes up against Ana de Armas in the Leading Actress section.

On Monday, George Lopez's 26-year-old daughter, Mayan Lopez, and her "Lopez vs. Lopez" costar Selenis Leyva revealed the list of nominees on NBC's "Today" as the event returns to the United States after taking a year off. "The Banshees of Inisherin" leads this year's nominations, including best motion picture, drama, and best supporting actor; two nominations for best supporting actor; and a top-support actor nomination. "Everything Everywhere Both at Once" and "Babylon," both of which received six and five nods, respectively, are close behind. Meanwhile, "Abbott Elementary" came out on top with five nominations, closely followed by "The Crown," "Only Murders in the Building," "Pam & Tommy" and "The White Lotus," which all scored four.

A new trailer for Netflix's highly awaited stop-motion animated film Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio has been posted. The film comes just months after Disney Plus introduced a live action Pinocchio version starring Tom Hanks, but critics (28% on Rotten Tomatoes) had it dismissed. Gregory Mann's voice as the title character, Ewan McGregor as Sebastian J. Cricket, and David Bradley as Geppetto appear in this new film.
