The final stage of Tour de France next year will be held outside of Paris for the first time since 1905, instead being on the French Riviera. The French capital will not finish on the Champs-Elysees due to security and logistical reasons. The competition will now conclude in Nice on July 21. The Olympics will be held in Paris just five days later. For the first time, the race will begin in Italy with a climb of more than 3,600 meters. High mountains will be on the 2024 calendar as soon as the fourth day in a series that features two individual time trials and four summit finishes.
