Lord Patten of Barnes (right)'s son-in-law (left) is facing a trial in two months over allegations of involvement in a shooting. Elton Charles, 50, and Laura Patten, a Tory life peer, is among three other men arrested in connection with the discharge of a pistol. It came after police in Ealing were alerted to a gunshot report not long after 10.30 p.m. on September 6, 2022.
