Grant Bowler Life

Grant Bowler (born 18 July 1968) is a New Zealand-Australian actor who has appeared in American, Australian, New Zealand, and Canadian film, television, and theatre. He is best known for his appearance in Outrageous Fortune as Constable Wayne Patterson.

In Ugly Betty, Connor Owens, Wilhelmina Slater's love interest, appeared.

He hosted The Amazing Race Australia in 2010.

Joshua Nolan appeared on the Syfy television series Defiance, and he has been the voiceover for Border Security: Australia for the Seven Network since 2004.

He has also appeared on the Canadian version of the show, which has often been seen back to back with the Australian episodes as part of Border Security: International, which is currently on Seven Two.

Bowler was born in Auckland, New Zealand, but he later moved to Australia and was raised in Brisbane, Australia.

He divorced from his wife of nine years, Australian actress Roxane Wilson, with whom he has two children, in 2011.

Career

Bowler is a graduate of the Australian National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, as well as Mel Gibson, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Baz Luhrmann, and Sam Worthington.

He spent time in theatre with the Bell Shakespeare Company, which was based in London, and was active in touring with the company established by John Bell.

Constable Wayne Patterson on Blue Heelers was his first television appearance, from 1993 to 1996. Since leaving the show, he spent time on Pacific Drive in 1996 and Medivac from 1996 to 1998. He appeared on Always Greener and Stingers, appeared on the television version of On the Beach, spent a year on ABC's Something in the Air, and appeared in the 2004 miniseries Through My Eyes about Azaria Chamberlain's disappearance. From 2004 to 2005, the bowler appeared on All Saints.

The Mole's Australian version was also hosted, from 2000 to 2003, with Bowler hosting the show from 2000 to 2003. He was recalled as host on the 2005 series by Tom Williams due to family commitments and hosting duties with Border Security.

Bowler appears as the narrator of Border Security: Australia's Front Line, a job he began as hosting in 2004, but he stopped being on camera after the first season. Bowler appeared in the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune. Since he first started playing Wolf, Bowler's acting career has grown, but despite the fact that he isn't in every episode, he has left other roles to continue in Outrageous Fortune.

Bowler appears in "Ji Yeon," the pilot of a freighter on the American television show Lost.

He became a regular on Ugly Betty in which he played the uninhibited CFO of Meade Publications (Connor Owens), the series's main villain, Wilhelmina Slater. "He has a lot of bad secrets" about his appearance, according to the bowler. He appeared in Cooter, a werewolf in the HBO urban fantasy film True Blood's third season in December 2009.

In late 2010, he was announced as the host of Seven Network's The Amazing Race Australia, and he subsequently hosted the show for three seasons. Beau Ryan did not return to host the 2019 Network 10 revival of the series.

On Channel 9, Australia, he appeared in Gallipoli's war drama. Bowler appeared in the psychological thriller Swelter, alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme and Alfred Molina, Lucky Dog with Amy Smart, and the family film Zooey to the Max.

Bowler appeared in a recurring role in The Baker and the Beauty in 2020, as the Australian father of lead character Noa Hamilton, played by Nathalie Kelley.

After his luggage went missing, Amazing Race host Beau Ryan admitted he had to film scenes for the reality show wearing just a towel. On Tuesday, the ex-NRL star, 37, told The Daily Telegraph that he had arrived in Belize to start shooting when he discovered the suitcase with all his clothes couldn't be found. He did some quick analysis and decided to simply improvise with whatever scant clothing was on display.
