On September 12th, there was a major absence at the 2022 Emmy Awards: the cast of "Stranger Things." Here's a look at why they decided against watching television's most popular night. This year, "Stranger Things" season four was nominated for 13 awards, but the entire cast was left out in the acting categories. Fans were outraged, particularly when it came to Sink, Brown's and Caleb McLaughlin's powerhouse appearances. "Stranger Things" executive producer Shawn Levy even addressed the snubs on the Emmys red carpet, telling E! They were "ridiculous and unfair."
