Dua Lipa's signature retro style took over Instagram over the weekend, with a series of shots in which she can be seen sporting a green-and-brown metallic skirt paired with a matching mesh criss bralette. The appearance was decidedly part wood nymph, part GI Jane, and a piece of '90s nostalgia.' Lipa is a fan of a "bra as a top" moment and has been a pioneer of the movement long before it became as popular as it is today. Although the 26-year-old singer often dresses a crop top or sporty bralette, she has also been known to wear a plain lace underwire bra with barely more than a pair of sluggish bottoms. Her latest going-out ensemble comes as no surprise given her obvious love for bras as tops. Lipa posted the three snapshots on her Facebook page on Sunday, posing on what seemed to be an interior wood windowsill or shelf. She rocked a Chopova Lowena bra top that crossed at her neck, as well as her torso with images taken by her younger brother, Gjin Lipa. The design was a checkerboard of earth tones with red flowers printed all over.
