Gil Sharone Life

Gil Sharone is an American drummer and member of Stolen Babies, Team Sleep, and former Dillinger Escape Plan and Marilyn Manson.

He was also a fill-in for the punk rock band +44.

Rani Sharone, a brother of Stolen Babies, is his twin brother.

He is known as one of the world's most versatile touring/session drummers, thanks to his work on classic-styled ska, Rocksteady, and reggae, as well as working in punk rock and industrial metal. When Travis Barker broke his arm, Sharone backed Mark Hoppus' band +44.

In early 2007, Gil toured around Europe, Japan, and Australia with a 44.

On the flight from America to Europe, it is believed he discovered all of +44's setlists.

He played on Travis' OCDP Drum Kit, which is a custom made transparent.

In October 2011, he started using Drum Workshop drums and hardware. Sharone played the drum tracks on the third Dillinger Escape Plan record Ire Works in 2008, and appeared with the band during all of their tour dates in 2008 (he appeared on Dillinger's European tour in early 2008 both with Dillinger and also as support with Stolen Babies).

Gil also appeared on Maynard James Keenan's V Is for the Vain album by Puscifer. Sharone Boehlinger had resigned from the Dillinger Escape Plan in January 2009 due to his focus on Stolen Babies and other personal projects, including his DVD, Wicked Beats, based on Ska's drumming styles, Rocksteady, and Reggae. In late 2010, Wicked Beats will be released through Hudson Music. On an episode of Full House with his twin brother, who played Teenage Nicky, Sharone played Teenage Alex. Sharone began working with Marilyn Manson on a new album in November 2013.

The Pale Emperor was unveiled on January 15, 2015.

Sharone was on the sequel to Heaven Upside Down, which was released on October 6, 2017.

Sharone Farrell announced in March 2019 that he would leave the band. Sharone was featured on Reggae Grammy winner Morgan Heritage's "So Amazing" on the album Strictly Roots (2016).

"John Wick" "Slackers" and the television shows, "Salem," "Kingdom," and Netflix's "The Punisher (2017)" will also be seen on the film scores to "John Wick" and "The Punisher."
