The box-shaped robot, which has been on space for seven days, is expected to ignite in Earth's atmosphere on Thursday. Before landing on the moon in 2026, Peregrine One was supposed to serve as a scout for the NASA Artemis astronauts. Since losing a significant amount of fuel, the NASA-backed Peregrine lander has 'no chance' of landing on the moon. The mission, which is backed by NASA, will go as far as possible before sinking into darkness. The problem arises after a manufacturing defect that occurred about seven hours after launch. The leak caused the Peregrine lander to spin, but it needed even more fuel to keep it sun-facing.
