On New Year's Day 2023, three Mafia rapper Gangsta Boo died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.

Juicy J is paying tribute to her three-month-old comrade Gangsta Boo, three months after her sudden and tragic death. According to TMZ, the Memphis rapper unveiled his new mixtape, Mental Trillness, on Friday, and it includes excerpts of Boo's hit song Where Dem Dollas At on Finesse2Tymes' Work Out. In addition, Boo (born Lola Chantrelle Mitchell) has a poem on the album Follow Home Robbers, which stems from a verse from her 2014 album Come Off Dat.

Gangsta Boo, a three-year-old Mafia rapper, died at the age of 43. On Sunday, TMZ announced that musical colleagues, including DJ Paul, remembered Lola Mitchell, who's real name, on social media. Gangsta Boo's cause of death was not immediately apparent, according to the publication.
