Moore was also the first female basketball coach in the country's history to guide two teams, UCLA and Cal State Fullerton, to two national championships. On Wednesday, she died of cancer in Fullerton. In 1999, the 79-year-old was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, as well as Kevin McHale, Wayne Embry, John Thompson, and Fred Zollner.
