Fearne Wood (born 3 September 1981), also known as Fearne Cotton, is an English television and radio presenter.
She has appeared on television shows such as Top of the Pops and the Red Nose Day telethons. She became the first female host of the Radio 1 Chart Show in 2007, co-hosted with Reggie Yates for two years.
She went on to host her own Radio 1 show, which was broadcast every weekday morning from 2009 to 2015. Cotton's The Xtra Factor, an ITV2 spin-off from the main show, debuted in 2007.
She anchored the show for one year before being replaced by Holly Willoughby in the upcoming series.

Early life
Cotton was born in Northwood, London Borough of Hillingdon, to Mick and Lyn Cotton; she has a younger brother, Jamie Cotton. Her father was a writer for Live Aid, and her mother worked in alternative therapy. She grew up in nearby Eastcote and was educated at Haydon School. She is a pescetarian and an animal lover. She has participated in many half marathons for charity. Bill Cotton (1928–2008), a retired BBC executive, was her paternal grandfather's cousin. Billy Cotton, the well-known entertainer and band leader, was his uncle. Cotton's ancestry was explored in the BBC TV series Who Do You Think You Are in August 2017.

Cotton revealed on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross that she had eleven tattoos over her body, the most notable of which is a fern leaf, covering her right hip up to her rib cage.

Jesse Jenkins, a skateboarder who died on her 29th birthday, was dated by Cotton. However, the wedding was called off and the couple split nine months later. Cotton began dating Jesse Wood, the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Cotton revealed on August 8th, 2012, she was pregnant with her first child. She revealed on Twitter on February 21, 2013 that she gave birth to Rex Rayne Wood that morning. In July 2014, Wood and Cotton were married. Cotton revealed on February 27, 2015, she was expecting her second child as part of her announcement that she would no longer be broadcasting, but rather, start a new one. Honey Krissy Wood, a nine-month-old girl, had given birth on Saturday morning, and she revealed it on Twitter.
Cotton is a friend of Holly Willoughby, a fellow TV presenter, with whom she has co-produced numerous shows. Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009 with Ben Shephard, Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon, Ronan Keating, Denise Van Outen, and Chris Moyles, as well as Girls Aloud members Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh. During the five-day climb, cotton and others fell from altitude sickness. She was in the first group (with Van Outen, Shephard, Cole) to reach the summit, and she raised £3.3 million. Cotton produced a video piece about malaria for Comic Relief. She visited a children's hospital in Uganda where she encountered a young child suffering from malaria. Cotton was forced to leave the room and collapsed as she did so, but she was able to resume shortly after. The child died later. Cotton has also spoken out in favour of raising funds for Comic Relief via the BT Speaking Clock.
