Fats Domino Life

Antoine "Fats" Domino Jr. (February 26, 1928 – October 24, 2017) was an American pianist and singer-songwriter.

Domino, one of rock and roll music's early adopters, has sold more than 65 million albums.

He had eleven top ten hits between 1955 and 1960.

Domino's humility and secrecy can be a reason for his contribution to the sport throughout his career. Billboard's Top 40 and five of his pre-1955 albums have sold more than a million copies since being labeled gold.

His musical style was based on traditional rhythm and blues, accompanied by saxophones, bass, piano, electric guitar, and drums.

"Ain't That A Shame" and "Blueberry Hill" are two of his most popular songs.

Personal life

Domino was married to Rosemary Domino (née Hall) from 1947 to her death in 2008; the couple had eight children: Antoine III (1950-1997), Anatole, Andre, Andrea, Anola, and Adonica.

And after his triumph, he continued to live in his old neighborhood, the Lower Ninth Ward, until Hurricane Katrina, which took him to a suburb of New Orleans.

Van Morrison's Accentuate writes ADRIAN THRILLS The positive review of his (grumpy) man finds his happy place

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 3, 2023
QUEBIAN THRILLS: Whatever you like about his steadfast anti-lockdown views, Van Morrison's two double albums in quarantine were difficult to bear. Dominated by rants about social distancing, the media and music business, 2021's sprawling Latest Record Project: Volume 1 and last year's What's It Gonna Take? The Belfast Cowboy lived up to his name as the world's most popular man. However, even a performer who outspokenly stated that he hated Covid and showed his more mature face in March, a tribute to the jazz and skiffle that took over Britain in the 1950s. Morrison, who denounced the word "pseudo-science" that surrounded Covid, had to wake up occasionally, and he showed his more empathetic side. Accentuate The Positive is a jolly double LP that includes some notable collaborations and sees him return to two more of his childhood favorites: 1950s rock and roll and 1960s pop. It takes Van, 78, back to his early days as a soulful rhythm and blues singer, and it's (whisper it) positively cheering.
