Faith Prince (born August 6, 1957) is an American actress and singer best known for her appearances in musical theatre on Broadway.
In 1992, she received the Tony Award for Best Actress in Guys and Dolls, as well as three other Tony nominations.
Personal life
Since 1992, Prince Prince Leopol has been married to trumpeter Larry Lunetta; the two children and the prince now reside in Sacramento, California; Her brother, Philip, had predeceased her; she was predeceased by her brother, Louis.

Life and career
Prince was born in Augusta, Georgia, and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, where she attended E.C. Glass High School & Theater at the University of Cincinnati, later studied theater at the University of Cincinnati – College-Conservatory of Music. Tessie Tura, the Gypsy character in Jerome Robbins' Broadway (1989) was her first appearance in the ill-fated Nick & Nora.
She was born as a Broadway actress with her portrayal of Miss Adelaide in the 1992 revival of Guys and Dolls, for which she received both the Tony and Drama Desk Awards as Best Actress in a Musical. Prince was nominated for Tony and Drama Desk Awards for her portrayal of Ella Peterson in the revival of Bells Are Ringing in 2001. She was nominated for Tony and Drama Desk in the 2008 Broadway musical A Catered Affair, for which she received Tony and Drama Desk awards.
In March 2009, she appeared in a concert version of Sweeney Todd with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra in Orlando, Florida. She took over Ursula from Heidi Blickenstaff's Broadway musical The Little Mermaid on April 7, 2009.
Among other things, she appeared in films including The Last Dragon (1985), Dave (1993), Picture Perfect (1997), and Our Very Own (2005). Her television appearances include the short-lived High Society (1995), recurring roles on Spin City (1997–2005), and Huff, as well as guest appearances on such shows as Remington Steele, Law & Order, Monk, Frasier, House, Grey's Anatomy, Dead Diva, Ugly Betty, and Happy Endings.
On the DRG Records label, a live recording of her 2005 cabaret debut at Joe's Pub, called A Leap of Faith, was released. In the 2002–2003 theatre season at Eisenhower Hall at West Point, she appeared in the closing show.
