English Gardner (born April 22, 1992) is an American track and field sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter dash.

Career
She was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Voorhees Township, New Jersey, where she graduated from Eastern Regional High School as part of the class of 2010. While competing for the University of Oregon in 2011, she set what seemed to be the American junior record in the 100 meters at 11.03 (+0.6%) set while winning the Pac-10 Championships. Her mark is superior to that of Angela Williams' 1999, but that number has yet to be ratified. She was a five-time NCAA champion with the Oregon Ducks track and field team, winning two 100 m m titles, two 4400 m championships, and an indoor 60 m dash crown.
Gardner qualified for the 2013 World Championships in Athletics in Moscow after winning the 100 meters at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Barbara Pierre's time of 10.85 was equal to her best time run in 2013 to that date, which she had to beat earlier this day in a semi-final. Gardner took third place in the 100 meters in Moscow with a time of 10.97. In the 4100-meter relay, she was a silver medalist for the United States.
