King Charles has been receiving JAPANESE instructions on how to conduct a coronation

www.dailymail.co.uk, April 23, 2023
Japan is the only other nation in the world not to be near to a traditional British coronation. So when Prince Charles of Wales and the Queen Charles travelled to witness imperial enthronements not once but twice, we have no doubt he was keeping an eye on him. It appears that the Japanese way of doing things may have influenced both the guest list and the wider blueprints for Charles' own Coronation on May 6. He attended the first enthronement in 1990, accompanied by Princess Diana. Akihito - still in poor health - has been deposed - almost three decades later. In 2019, the son of Hs son Aruhito became Emperor (pictured with Empress Masako) and Charles returned to Tokyo for the second time in 2019. Michael Fawcett, another royal visitor, was also on Charles' side, which is significant. And not just any visitor: Fawcett was one of Prince Charles' closest aides at the time, and he was often described as his eyes and ears. I asked a person who has followed the Royal Family for decades that he was here because he was doing a "recce," not realizing how the Japanese did an event like that.'
