Elias Mallin (born March 23, 1981, Phoenix, Arizona, United States) is an American musician who played drums for the Masses, a band he formed with fellow New School for the Performing Arts and Academics classmates.
According to a statement issued by the band's founders, My Darling Murder, a metal band formed with friends Andy Gerold (former touring bassist for Marilyn Manson) and Tim Kelleher (former touring bassist for Thirty Seconds to Mars), broke up in 2006, and Mallin joined Kill Hannah on the road in the fall of that year.
He has been featured in interviews, photo shoots, and newspapers as a full member of Kill Hannah since mid-2007.
Mallin, a full-time member of Kill Hannah, has also been performing as the live drummer for Kesha since her appearance on Saturday Night Live in Spring 2010.
He served in Hollywood Undead from late 2009-2010 before joining Kesha permanently. With guitarist Jared Woosely, Mallin, Gerold, and Kelleher reformed My Darling Murder.
In early 2011, they recorded an EP with producer Sean Beavan.
The Ep was never officially announced. Mallin performed with platinum-selling rock band Filter for a short time in 2012, as well as super group Fear and the Nervous System (led by James "Munky" Schaffer from Korn).
In late 2012, Elias returned to Kesha. After Kesha's tour period on the Warrior album came to an end, Mallin joined platinum-selling pop duo MKTO in February 2014 while also playing drums for the new Hollywood Undead album (set for release on Interscope Records in 2015). He continued playing with Kesha and MKTO in 2015 and 2016, while also playing/touring with Andrew Watt, Hayley Kiyoko, and others. Mallin plays for Noah Cyrus and Julia Michaels and is expected to continue touring with Kesha in 2017.
