Dylan Thomas Sprouse (born August 4, 1992) is an American actor and entrepreneur.
He is Cole Sprouse's twin brother and is best known for his role as Zack Martin on Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and its spin-off, The Suite Life on Deck.
He is also the co-founder of All-Wise Meadery, a New York meadery.
Early life
Sprouse was born in Arezzo, Italy, on August 4, 1992, to American parents Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright. Dylan was born 15 minutes before his twin brother Cole Sprouse, who was named after Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas Thomas. When the twins were four months old, they moved to Long Beach, California, their parents' hometown.
Personal life
Sprouse attended the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University in 2011 and obtained a four-year diploma in video game design, following the conclusion of The Suite Life on Deck. Since age 15, he has been described as a Heathen.
Sprouse has been in a long-term partnership with model Barbara Palvin since 2018. They lived in Brooklyn for more than two years before moving to Los Angeles in 2021.
Career
Sprouse started his career on television in 1993, with his twin brother Cole Sprouse, and they were involved in the role of Patrick Kelly in Grace Under Fire until 1998. He continued to appear in numerous films and television series with his brother for the next few years. Sprouse appeared in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody from 2005 to 2008.
He appeared in Lucas Ward's lead role in the thriller film Dismissed in 2017. He appeared in a short film Carte Blanche the previous year, and he was cast in comedy film Banana Split as Nick. Sprouse opened All-Wise Meadery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the name of which is a homage to his Heathen faith.
In 2019, he appeared in Daddy, a short film.
Sprouse starred in After We Collided, the sequel to the 2019 film After. Heavy Metal and DiGa Studios will be releasing the first issue of Sprouse's comic book Sun Eater in May 2020.
He appeared in Tyger Tyger as Luke Hart and in the Chinese film The Curse of Turandot as Calaf in 2021.
