Inter Miami goalkeeper Drake Callender made a humiliating mistake playing out from the back against Monterrey in the Champions Cup on Wednesday night - with USMNT teammate Brandon Vazquez intercepting his pass and scoring an easy goal. Lionel Messi and Inter Miami headed into the game in Mexico trailing 2-1 but after a gritty start to the game, Callender's error left the team on the brink of an exit. They would go on to lose 3-1 on the night, 5-2 on aggregate. Thomas Aviles played the ball back to his goalkeeper under minimal pressure and as Callender got the ball under control, Vazquez slowly approached to narrow the goalkeepers passing angle.

Julian Gressel assisted with the header, going from a freekick to finding the Uruguayan for the header past Matt Freese.
