"The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," the Hunger Games prequel film, is officially available, and it just recently added a major actor. Viola Davis will be joining the cast as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, the franchise's head gamemaker for the 10th annual Hunger Games, according to the franchise's official Instagram on August 15. Davis isn't the first major award-winning name to sign on to the film. Peter Dinklage had joined the cast on July 18th, according to Deadline. The Emmy winner, Casca Highbottom, will be dean of the Academy.
