A man was charged with dumping Frank Vallelonga Jr.'s body out of a stolen car

Stephen Smith, 35, was arrested by police about 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, a day after Green Book actor Frank Vallelonga Jr's body was discovered. Although Smith was not charged in Vallelonga Jr.'s murder, he dumped the actor's body along Oak Point Avenue in the Bronx at about 1:15 a.m. on Monday. Smith is now facing allegations linked to grand larceny, petit larceny, unlawful possession of a stolen house, and unlawful use of a car. January 11, 2023, is his upcoming court date in Bronx Criminal Court. He is currently on supervised release.
