Diora Lynn Baird (born April 6, 1983) is an American actress and former model for Guess. who has appeared in films such as Wedding Crashers (2005), Accepted (2006), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006), Young People Fucking (2007), My Best Friend's Girl (2008), Stan Helsing (2009), and Transit (2012).
Early life
Baird was born in Miami, Florida, on April 6, 1983. Her mother was also a model. She enrolled her mother in an acting class to help her cope with introversion. She became vice president of her school's Thespian Society later in life.
She moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of pursuing an acting career at the age of 17. She performed at The Gap, caterer, waitress, and preschool teacher before deciding to work in modeling, most notably with Guess? Her exposure has greatly increased with her appearance on the front page of Playboy magazine in August 2005. She had been contracted to Elite Model Management in Miami when she first arrived.

Career
Baird began acting on the Drew Carey Show and in the low budget film Brain Blockers in 2004. In 2005, she made her debut in a major film, and in Accepted and Hot Tamale, which she followed up with roles. She appeared in four films in 2006, most notably in the horror film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. In 2009, Baird portrayed an Orion Starfleet officer in a Star Trek film directed by J. J. Abrams, but was removed from the final version of the film. She can be seen in the deleted scenes from the home video film.
