On Saturday, Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni met up for a specific cause. Mariska, 59, who gave a Law & Order: SVU a lifetime's thrill when they bumped into each other on the same flight, and Christopher, 62, did their part to celebrate some real life heroes on International Firefighters Day in New York. The two celebrities, who have been involved in fighting crimes on TV for more than 20 years, also posted photographs of their Leary Firefighter Foundation, which was founded by their friend and former Law & Order co-star Denis Leary, 65.
