Dimitra Papadea (born 21 August 1991), also known as Demy, is a Greek singer who has signed to the Greek independent label Panik Records.

Demy has released two Studio albums as of today.

In 2012, "#1" became a Platinum album and "Rodino Oniro" became a Gold album.

"Demy," a collection of all of her English songs, was released in 2017 by the singer, and later she released "Kontra," which contained two new songs and older songs and collaborations that had never been released in an album until that time.

So far, Demy has released 8 No.1 songs and two No.1 EPs (Extended Plays) on the Greek charts, including two No.1 songs.

She has also performed in five musicals from 2012 to 2017. Demy has been nominated 30 times for a MAD Video Music Awards (Annual Greek Awards) since the start of her career (Annual Greek Awards).

She has received 11 VMA Awards, including "Best New Artist" and "Best Female Artist," as well as the honor of the country's 4th most coveted artist.

Demy appeared in Midenistis' song Mia Zografia, which became a big hit in Greece and Cyprus. Two MAD Video Music Awards 2012, one for the best video clip Hip Hop/Urban and the other for the year's duet. In June 2012, the first single, "Poses Hiliades Kalokeria" (How Many Summer Summers), was released and quickly climbed to No.1 on the iTunes Greece chart. The album debuted on the Billboard Greece Digital Songs chart on July 7th, 2012, and stayed in the top spot for nine weeks in a row, while the total time remained at 10. On Greek radio, it became a hit, reaching No. 1 in the top 20 cities. 1 on the official Greek airplay chart. On Playmen's "Fallin," she also sings lead vocals. "Pes Pos Me Thes," "Mia Zografia," "Mono Mprosta," and "Kratise Me" are two of her more popular songs. On June 25, 2012, she appeared on the Greece You Have Talent finale, performing a medley of her latest debuts (Mia Zografia, Mono Mbrosta, and Poses Xiliades Kalokairia). Two new songs were released on YouTube on July 6, 2012: a "Poses Hiliades Kalokairia" dance remix and "Love Light," an English-language translation of the "Poses Hiliades Kalokairia" dance remix. Both songs have also been released as digital singles. Panik's video for "Love Light" was released on July 30th, 2012. Demy and Playmen performed "Fallin" at the Europa Plus Live music festival in Moscow, Russia, on July 28, 2012. The song has become extremely popular in Russia and has risen to No. 1. The Europa Plus Chart, the festival's radio station, is ranked 1 on the Europa Plus Chart. She appeared at the Amita Motion "Day of Positive Energy" music festival on September 21, 2012. She appeared with other members of her record label. "I Zoi" (The Life) was her new single on October 22, 2012. On October 17, 2012, a 24-second teaser was revealed on YouTube. In December 2012, it has been confirmed that she would be starring in "Fame" at Pirae's "Ellinikou Kosmou" theater. It's also her goal to record songs that she has written one day. According to her record label, Demy's first full-length studio album, No.1, was released in late 2012. She had revealed herself in the studio on the new album through Twitter in September 2012. The album contained ten tracks, two of which were in English. Midenistis "Mia Zografia," a Greek rapper, made the album also available in Greece.

In the Greek final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Greece, Demy performed "Believe" with Dima Bilan. Demy released "The Sun" in English in May 2013, as well as producer Alex Leon and Greek rapper Epsilon, and it became a big hit in Greece.

Playmen, which features Demy, was the first video to be released in March 2014 for the song 'Nothing Better.' Yiannis Papadakos produced the album, which was released by Panik Records.
