A lottery winner who dialed into a Nashville financial advice show has explained why he and his wife kept the news of their $22 million windfall a mystery among virtually all their acquaintances and relatives - even their own children. The anonymous caller, who referred to his age as 'pushing 50,' explained that he had researched the overwhelming number of lottery winners who lost their money in a matter of years due to 'too many people at your door' who turn up 'asking for handouts.'
