On March 19, 2022, David Perry, 40, made a 'exception' to a group that included married father-of-three Matthew Cutts as they 'joked and merrily laughed about' at the Bell Hotel in Clare, Suffolk. The gardener, who had been consuming alcohol, had been ejected from the bar and was ejected from the bar before returning with the axe. To prevent her from murdering herself, she had to call the ambulance services,' he said. "It felt like if someone came near me and something was going to happen to them."
