The initiative has sparked controversy among drivers, and more than 190,000 people have signed a petition on the Senedd website urging that the Welsh government to rescind and delete the draconian 20mph rule.' According to the petition, the policy will result in "complete carnage" on the roads.

Chloe Ferry, 21, is facing two years and four months in prison after ridingr David Lewis, 49, was killed in a crash.
