Share buybacks should boost the share price of a company as they decrease the total number of shares in issue. Meanwhile, the majority of analysts rate Tesco a 'buy' with an average target price of 338p. There is also the lure of its 3.78 per cent dividend yield.

As the public's reaction to the change' to the speed limit is reversed, Wales' 20mph calamity as "drivers will only be charged for going 26mph or faster" will be reversed

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 19, 2023
Wales was the first in the United Kingdom and one of the first in the world to make it a default 20mph limit in built-up areas. The government of Mark Drakeford claims that 20mph defaults in built-up areas would minimize noise pollution and minimize the number of fatal accidents. However, people have voted against the scheme after it was revealed that speed cameras operators GoSafe would allow 10 percent leeway plus 4 mph, which has caused confusion on the highways. The initiative has sparked controversy among drivers, and more than 190,000 people have signed a petition on the Senedd website urging that the Welsh government to rescind and delete the draconian 20mph rule.' According to the petition, the policy will result in "complete carnage" on the roads.

The Labour government in Mark Drakeford's country carried out a strongly unpopular enforcement of 20mph zones in all built-up residential areas, much to the commotion of residents. The Welsh Government has 'ignored enterprises' and 'ignored the public,' according to House Majority Leader Penny Mordaunt, who said the scheme had been blasted as "insane." According to her, the scheme is 'punishing' drivers. Every minute, a public petition asking for the Welsh government to rescind the go-slow law is getting 40 new signatures per minute. It now has over 80,000 signatures. Pictured at the bottom are Welsh people who are opposed to the changes: Cerys Hillier (left), Arman Asghari (centre), and Vivienne Moore (left).
