Tesco may be a stock to add to your shopping list if you are seeking more exposure to British shares

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 9, 2024
Tesco has been buying back its shares and intends to spend a further £1billion over the next year on this strategy. Share buybacks should boost the share price of a company as they decrease the total number of shares in issue. Meanwhile, the majority of analysts rate Tesco a 'buy' with an average target price of 338p. There is also the lure of its 3.78 per cent dividend yield.

REVEALED: The reason for the lower case 'e' in the Nottingham Forest seats at the City Ground as fans notice strange design following points deduction

www.dailymail.co.uk, March 20, 2024
Nottingham Forest has received an uninhibited amount of media attention lately for voluntarily admitting to violating the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability legislation. Many fans are noticing a peculiarity in Forest's stadium that they hadn't noticed before, but now have several questions about it. As the public's reaction to the change' to the speed limit is reversed, Wales' 20mph calamity as "drivers will only be charged for going 26mph or faster" will be reversed

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 19, 2023
Wales was the first in the United Kingdom and one of the first in the world to make it a default 20mph limit in built-up areas. The government of Mark Drakeford claims that 20mph defaults in built-up areas would minimize noise pollution and minimize the number of fatal accidents. However, people have voted against the scheme after it was revealed that speed cameras operators GoSafe would allow 10 percent leeway plus 4 mph, which has caused confusion on the highways. The initiative has sparked controversy among drivers, and more than 190,000 people have signed a petition on the Senedd website urging that the Welsh government to rescind and delete the draconian 20mph rule.' According to the petition, the policy will result in "complete carnage" on the roads.
