David Alexander Lamb (born 17 January 1969) is an English actor, comedian, and voice actor.

He is best known for his appearances on Come Dine with Me, British television and radio programs, especially comedy programs like Goodness Gracious Me.

He also appeared on the CBBC game show "Horrible Histories: Gory Games."

Early life

Lamb studied philosophy and literature at the University of Warwick in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.

Early work

Lamb's first known role came in the British sitcom How Do You Want Me? in 1998. Buster, he played a homophobic tramp. His first public appearances were in the British Indian sketch show Goodness Gracious Me, as the only recurring white character in the cast. He appeared on comedy programs such as People Like Us, Hippies, Armstrong, and Miller, The Smoking Room, and Fun at the Funeral Parlour, as well as a brief appearance in a few episodes of EastEnders throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. He made a brief appearance in DIY SOS.

Personal life

Lamb lives in Lewes and is a regular at the Lewes FC's Dripping Pan. He is a stockholder in the company.
