I'm sure Liverpool have done their due diligence on Arne Slot and it's positive for the fans that he plays the game on the front foot just like Klopp. We're told he has a confident and humorous personality as well which is positive. He won't need three years to build a team to compete at the top level like Klopp did because he already has a squad in place with quality and the right blend of youth and experience.

DANNY MURPHY: I've given Bruno Fernandes plenty of stick for his tantrums over the years so it's time to redress the balance. He may not be captaincy material in my eyes because of his petulance but he's also Manchester United's best player by a mile and the only way they can win a trophy this season. If he played for a properly decent team like Manchester City or Liverpool, I bet he wouldn't get half as frustrated.
