Some viewers expressed dissatisfaction with the otherwise "brilliant" British dark comedy's 'brilliant' bloodlust,' according to X, formerly Twitter. One person wrote, 'This is shameful bloodlust, which detracts rather than adds to the story.' The show tells Janet (Breeders' Daisy Haggard) how Samuel (Peep Show) convinces Janet (Breeders' Daisy Haggard) that they should steal the drugs, sell them, and divide the proceeds. Boat Story, which has been dubbed 'incredible' and a'masterpiece' by fans, has been living on the small screen. The tense thriller, laced with black humor, is currently available on BBC iPlayer, with some viewers saying they 'watched the entire show' in one go' and comparing it to Quentin Tarantino films. The show was created by Harry and Jack Williams, the brothers who created The Missing and its spin-off Baptiste, and it tells Janet (Breeders' Daisy Haggard) how Samuel (Peep Show's Paterson Joseph) convinces Janet that they should steal the medications, sell them, and split the money. The acting has been lauded, with the leads lauded for their outstanding performances. Boat Story: You wouldn't see this much gore in a zombie film if Tarantino made it, writes CHRISTOPHER STEVENS

What would you do?If you were walking the dog and found a truckload of cocaine next to a couple of corpses on a deserted beach, would you ignore the bodies and steal the drugs? It's a ridiculous thing. Jack and Harry Williams, writers, don't want us to take it seriously. They're really asking is... "Yeah, but what if?" trolls are asking. No other British screenwriters dare to do this, putting the credibility of the opening credits to the test and then stretching them. We have the wildly improved version of the boat story (BBC1), with three children shrieling in delight at a fractured head in a field. It's like the Just William version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
