Crowd Lu Life

Crowd Lu (born 15 July 1985) is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and actor.

After making a parody of Opera No. 1, he is now known as Vitas Lu. Vitas, a Russian singer, has a tendency to hit the same high notes as 2nd.

Lu learned to play guitar during his hospitalization due to a serious car accident in his first year at Tamkang University.

Lu won first prize for musical composition and solo performance at Tamkang University in the following year, and he went on to win the gold medal in composition and become the crowd favorite at National Chengchi University. Lu won Best New Artist and Best Composer at the 20th Golden Melody Awards in 2009.

Early life

In Tainan City, Taiwan, Crowd Lu was raised in a household full of culture and concentrated on the arts. His mother, a fan and collector of Western jazz records, sparked a similar — if not greater — musical interest in Lu at a young age. Lu's talent was evident as he would belt out Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson's songs only after being exposed to them once or twice. Lu's grandmother was also responsible for his musical inclination. His grandmother, who was a fan of local Taiwanese dramas, would perform theme songs from these dramas to Lu and his sister, coercing them to sleep. Lu's most likely appearance at this time was carefree, sincere, and youthful.

Lu went north to Taipei to attend Tamkang University after graduating from the Tainan Guangming High School in 2003. Despite attempting to major in electrical engineering due to a near-fatal car crash, Lu was forced to change his major to Spanish Literature.

Crowd Lu Career

Career

Lu was run over by a bus in his first year at Tamkang University and sustained severe leg injury. Lu spent months in the hospital, where he picked up the guitar and experimented with musical composition. Lu won the first prize for musical composition and solo performance at a Tamkang University singing competition the following year, and went on to win the gold in composition and become the crowd favorite in a similar competition at National Chengchi University. Lu caught the eye and ears of well-known music record producer Zhong Cheng Hu, who along with Zhong Hu produced three singles.

Of them, "Good Morning, Beautiful Dawn!"

In 2007, she appeared on Taiwan's Top Ten Singles. Lu achieved 15,000 CD's of his singles by mere word of mouth.

Lu toured Taiwan in late 2006, from diners to universities, and established a large fan base, especially among university students.

Lu's tour ended in 2008 with 100 concerts, and his first CD 100 Ways of Living came out on May 25th. 100 Ways of Living topped the charts and changed the direction of the burgeoning Mando-pop musical industry and taste in Asia, which are both clear and fresh.

Lu had his first official concert on August 23, 2008, just 88 days after his hit CD came out.

Lu's albums Seven Days () and Live in Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) were both named as one of the Top 10 Most Popular Mandarin Albums of the Year at the 2009 IFPI Hong Kong Branch of IFPI.

The piece was named Best Original Film Song at Taiwan's Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards, Lu performed the theme song of the film Your Name Engraved Herein. The music video has more than 58 million views on YouTube as of August 2022.
