Slipknot announces 25th anniversary tour across US and Europe with band returning to their hometown for Knotfest 2024

The highly acclaimed nu metal band Slipknot will be celebrating the anniversary of their first album on the road. The band announced on their social media pages today that their North American tour dates for their Here Comes the Pain 25th anniversary tour would begin on August 6. The band is looking to make their tour 'more personal on the anniversary' and Crahan is warning fans to prepare to have their faces kicked in. Slipknot will close out their tour by headlining this year's Knotfest Iowa music festival in their hometown on September 21.

Multiple people have reportedly been shot during an Eid celebration in West Philadelphia.  Several people have reportedly been arrested and guns were seized from the scene, reports Fox29.   It is unclear exactly how many people have been shot or what the extent of their injuries are. One of those being treated is a suspected gunman, reports Philadelphia Inquirer . A pedestrian running from the shooting was also hit by a car. The extent of their injuries is not clear.

Although Sydney's headline show went off without a hitch, revellers in the two other cities posed a danger to travelers as they scaled the massive towers. Slipknot suspended their display according to festival regulations and scolded a daredevil fan who had reached the top of the tower, which was located in a cordoned-off zone in the middle of the crowd on March 24, despite the crowd's sleeping.
