CHRIS FOY: England can NEVER compete with Scotland's hostility or harness history in the same way as many opponents… so which rivalry matters most to the English?

www.dailymail.co.uk, February 18, 2024
THE WORLD OF RUGBY: Scotland will welcome the English with a measure of rivalry that is not equaled by the visitors from south of Hadrian's Wall. When the England coach arrives, they will be cramming onto the upper walkways at Murrayfield, leaning toward some chosen words and perhaps even the odd projectile for good measure. Steve Borthwick and his crew will know that they are clearly out of their comfort zone thanks to the yells, boos, and chants. As always, there will be a proper edge and a tense, which is exactly how it should be. During the warm-ups, there is every chance that the Red Rose raiders will be met by go-slow bagpipers, the infernal pillar in the middle of the away dressing-room, and severe overcrowding on their half of the field. This is all part of the fixture's rich tapestry.

I'm a celebrity 2022: Mike Tindall reveals what it's like to live in Buckingham Palace for the night

www.dailymail.co.uk, November 24, 2022
On Thursday evening's episode of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! Mike Tindall talked about staying over at Buckingham Palace. He strolled the royal residence in 'jeans and a T-shirt,' admitting to a joking. Zara, King Charles III's niece and the 20th in line for the throne, is married to the former rugby player. During the episode, the six remaining campmates were reduced to four, but Jill Scott and Seann Walsh were involved in the Deals On Wheels trial today, with Owen Warner probing Mike about his royal connections during the downtime. The Hollyoaks star asked: 'Have you been to Buckingham Palace much?' 'More than most,' Mike replied as his campmate wondered what it was like at the palace. Mike recalled how they met at The Daily Mail: "Zara was on her gap year and with colleagues in Australia.' Clive Woodward had just told me that I had been disqualified for the semi-finals, so I went out for a beer with two others that weren't playing, Martin Corry and Austin Healey.
