The Queen has been lauded for her efforts to raise the alarm of domestic violence by the daughter of a woman who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend. Roann Court (pictured left), who was 15 years old at the time when her 35-year-old mother Claire Marshall (pictured inset) was killed by Benjamin Cooper in 2009 in Millom, Cumbria, spoke to Camilla about ensuring victims have a voice in death if they didn't participate in life, according to Maria. Ms Court, a 30-year-old mother of two boys, met the Queen when Camilla visited Swindon on Monday. The monarch was commemorating the Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service, which she honoured with a trip to the charity's refugee before visiting a jewelry store.
