One of the stars from Irish crime drama Kin has teased the fate of the show's infamous Kinsella clan ahead of a much-anticipated third season. The RTE gangland thriller, featuring Charlie Cox, Clare Dunne, Aidan Gillen and Ciaran Hinds has had viewers glued to two seasons since it debuted in 2021. Kin was an instant hit on the Irish channel, with the season two finale pulling in nearly 600,000 viewers, before both seasons were rushed onto BBC One and BBC iPlayer by February 2024.

A comedy about alcoholism might seem to be a stretch, but The Dry manages to elicit laughs from the dark corners of addiction. The Irish series has been likened to Fleabag in that it centers on a thirtysomething woman who is recouping her sobriety after returning from London for her grandmother's funeral. Shiv Sheridan, a recovering drinker who has lost her career in London, is Roisin Gallagher's role. She decides to stay in Dublin, but her dysfunctional family threatens to drag her back to the bottle.

Hugo Blick, who also wrote Amazon's spy drama The Honourable Woman, is directing the series, which will air on BBC in the United Kingdom and Prime Video in the United States.
