The widow of the Temple University officer who was shot and killed while walking the streets of Philadelphia over the weekend said he kissed her goodbye, told her he loved her and said he'd be right back. However, Christopher Fitzgerald did not return. On Saturday night, he was shot and killed in the line of duty. When she received the call, Fitzgerald's widow Marissa was out running errands. She sobbed as she recalled her final words to her, adding that her four young children will miss their father so much and that he will always be 'our greatest hero.' Officer Fitzgerald was doing the job he loved and helping his families make it a better place, according to his family, when he was fired in the head along Montgomery Avenue in North Philadelphia. Miles Pfeffer, 18, was arrested at his Philadelphia home on Sunday morning in connection with the shooting. On Monday, he was arrested on murder charges and is being held on bail.
