The graveyard was made popular by Greyfriar's Bobby, a Skye terrier (depicted in a film, center) who spent 14 years on his master's grave. JK Rowling, who portrayed several characters after being laid to rest in the 16th century graveyard, was later inspired by it (right). The 'irreplaceable' headstone (left) was taken on Sunday between 10.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m.
