After the safety suffered cardiac arrest on Monday night, the Buffalo Bills have put Damar Hamlin on the Injured Reserve for their Week 18 match against the New England Patriots. Following his cardiac arrest, the Buffalo safety had his breathing tube removed earlier Friday in the latest sign of improvement, after being resuscitated on the field in Cincinnati on Monday night. The Bills unexpectedly put the 24-year-old on Friday's Injured Reserve and resurgent cornerback Christian Benford.
