Chris Nuez (born April 11, 1973) is an American tattoo artist, television presenter, and entrepreneur who has been a tattoo artist for 28 years as of 2019.

Early life
He grew up in Miami, Florida, of Cuban descent. Nez had always loved art and began painting graffiti as a youth, but not just for the sake of drawing an image rather than just Nez's name. He soon discovered tattooing, fell in love with it, and began working an apprenticeship at a local tattoo store. Nez says he is very grateful for his apprenticeship experience when he was younger, as he went from background work – cleaning, running errands, and building computers – to learning how to tattoo and tattoo basics. His father died when N'ez was 18 years old, resulting in him rebelling in his late teens and early twenties. These were of his parents' names, and were not of his first tattoos, which he got at age 16.
Career
After being a graffiti artist, Nez converted to tattooing, but even after opening a tattoo shop with friends, he continued to do part-time construction jobs. He was the founder of Handcrafted Tattoo and Art Gallery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Love Hate Tattoos in Miami Beach were launched by Ami James and Ami James in 2013. He now owns Liberty City Tattoo in Wynwood-Miami, Florida, USA.
He served as a cast member of the TLC network's reality show Miami Ink and later became a judge on Spike network's reality competition Ink Master, in which tattoo artists compete in challenges assessing their tattoo and related artistic abilities.
He is a partner of Ridgeline Empire, which owns Ink Skins and Upset Gentlemen, as well as an animation studio with two animated series in production as of 2014: Hoodbrats and Toothians.
