Brian Gutierrez, a USA footballer, is one of the clubs interested in the Chicago Fire's USA talent

www.dailymail.co.uk, June 5, 2023
Brian Gutierrez, a Chicago Fire midfielder, is gaining a following, with Manchester United and Manchester United among the clubs showing an interest in the 19-year-old. Rangers, a Scottish Premiership club, are another group sniffing around, although it is believed that getting a work permit in the United Kingdom for the player may be difficult. Given the potential restrictions, Borussia Dortmund, Red Bull Leipzig, and Girona are among the clubs preparing to swoop, and they will have no problems with getting the USA Under 20 international to pitch.

MLS: After Rafael Czichos' first-half smash, the Chicago Fire barely beats ten-man St. Louis City

www.dailymail.co.uk, May 13, 2023
For the second time this week, the Chicago Fire beat the MLS newcomers by a narrow 1-0 victory over ten-man St. Louis City. Rafael Czichos scored late in the first half, but Chris Brady made it stand up to help Chicago win. Under interim coach Frank Klopas' leadership in the first meeting between the teams, the Fire eliminated St. Louis City in US Open Cup play with a 2-1 win earlier this week. After the Fire sacked head coach Ezra Hendrickson, Klopas took the reins. Chicago had lost two straight and five of its last seven against expansion teams in a row.
