Connor Stalions may have resigned from his position at the University of Michigan, but the team was still able to earn a spot in the CFP National Championship game. In the fall of 2023, the Stalions resigned after allegedly being at the forefront of a sign-stealing scheme that gave the team an unfair advantage over rivals. On New Year's Day, he was seated right next to former Wolverines quarterback and NFL draft pick Chase Winovich.
