Carlos Alberto Gigliotti (born March 27, 1963), better known by his stage name Charly Alberti, is an Argentinae rock musician best known as the drummer of the influential Argentine rock band Soda Stereo.

Charly Alberti founded CybeRelations, a company in Argentina dedicated to Apple Macintosh promotion. Charly began to expand the company's goals and started creating multimedia and internet applications, mainly for the Hispanic market. Alberti became one of the AppleMasters by the end of the year, the country's sole Latin American.
Charly introduced the i-time in 1998, which was accepted and used as the new internet time standard. He founded URL Magazine and URL Records by the end of the year, both projects aimed at Latin audiences. Cybrel's 1999 launch of yeyeye.com, a Latin America web site devoted to music promotion. Charly was invited by the Spanish Crown to speak in a conference on the importance of the Spanish language on the internet and technology in general in July 2001.
Charly Alberti was invited by MTV Latin America in 2003 to appear in a special edition of the MTV Latin American Video Awards. The plan was to put together a "All Star Band" of Latin American musicians, which would be the evening's biggest surprise. Charly was left with the desire to return to music after this experience. He returned to Argentina and formed MOLE, a new rock band formed by his brother Andrés, in 2005. Charly Alberti (drums), Andrés Alberti (lead guitars), Sergio Bufi (singer and second guitarist), and Ezequial Dasso (chorus and bass). The group released their first album, simply named MOLE, in April 2007, and later in Argentina and then Latin America. In the Gardel Awards' category of Best Album by a New Rock Band on March 26, 2008.
On March 25, 2009, Alberti's father, Tito Alberti, died. On May 1, he joined The Climate Project, the foundation headed by Nobel Laureate Al Gore, as its chief spokesman in Argentina.
Alberti was named the United Nations Development Programme Goodwill Ambassador in 2017.
