Porsha-Nevaeh Williams (bottom right), from a traveller family in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, was laid to rest after a cortege featuring a horse-drawn carriage carried her home to Llwydcoed Cemetery (left). Porsha died in January after 17 grueling months at Noah's Ark Hospital in Cardiff, where she was renowned for her courage as she battled an unusual form of blood cancer. Chloe, 22, said her daughter had an incredible sense of humor, adding, "She was the funniest character." Even on a bad day, she never failed to smile.' Hundreds of mourners lined the streets outside Porsha's home, as well as stunning floral tributes to her favorite items, from Spider-Man and Peppa Pig to Dairylea Dunkers and Peter's pies.

Keith Simms (pictured) was recently identified by DNA technology as responsible for a dozen sex attacks committed across Sydney's east between 1987 and 2000, and at least 19 others. Simms, who wielded a knife and disguised in a balaclava, assaulted young girls and women as young as 55 years old. He died of kidney disease in February before being charged with murder. On March 3, scores of families and friends who registered into St Andrews Catholic Church in Malabar, the city's east, heard tales of a revered community member.
