The National Portrait Gallery will have an unveiled photograph of the 'Dirty Duchess' of Argyll'

In June, a never-before-een photograph of Margaret Sweeny of the 'Dirty Duchess' will be on view at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of an exhibition on photographer Madame Yevonde. The photograph, which has been cropped out of Margaret's old photo, was taken in the 1930s, when she was a young socialite. She rose to fame as a result of her bitter divorce from her second husband, Scottish peer Ian Douglas Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll, 1963 (right).
