Chad Morris, 37, was standing outside Bar: PM when a cop car smashed into the front of the house and broke the front door and window. He figured it was from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and went outside to speak with the officers but was arrested within half an hour of the shooting. Morris was accused of shooting a cop and charged with criminal assault, but prosecutors reduced the charge to misdemeanor assault and resisting arrest. He was in jail for 30 hours before being released on his own recognizance on Tuesday, and his defense counsel, Javad Khazaeli, refuted the allegations.

Following an alleged altercation, a St. Louis police officer smashed his patrol car into a popular gay bar Monday morning, resulting in the detention of one of the bar's employees.
