Catherine Webb (born 1986) is a British author educated at the Godolphin and Latymer Schools in London and the London School of Economics.

When she published Mirror Dreams, she was 14 years old, it was written during her school holidays.

Her father, author and publisher Nick Webb, has died, and he suggested that the manuscript be sent to an agent he knew, who eventually agreed to represent her.

Atom Books, a Time Warner company, has published the book in 2002, and Webb has been named Young Trailblazer of the Year by the magazine CosmoGirl UK.

Webb has written eight young adult novels, most with Atom Books, and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Bethnal Green, Clerkenwell, and along the River Thames, comparing London as it was once or twice in the past.

In an interview, she appeared in CosmoGirl in 2006.

She appeared in online interviews with CBBC and nzgirl when she was 15, as well as the Telegraph, which referred to her as a teenage princess.

Claire North has written three science-fiction books, three novellas, and one fantasy book.

Life
